Aloha Pet Pawrents! Thank you for your interest in Three Dogs and a Girl Grooming. Your fur child's safety and comfort are very important to us therefore we always have a initial consultation with you at your first appointment. We ask many questions about your fur child so we have a better idea of what your expectations and requests are. We request that your fur child has vaccinations that are up to date, no excessive fleas or ticks and disclose if there are any aggressive behavior such as biting that you are aware of. Safety is our main concern for both the fur kids and the groomers taking care of them. We hope that you chose us for your pampered pooches grooming needs.

Cut my dog's ears and didn't tell me. They were small cuts under his ears so we didn't know until he kept yelping when we pet him. Took about a week to heal enough that we could pet his head. Even giving her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't realize she did it, no question that she cut him.
We now go to the place around the corner. Much better customer service and grooming.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Kyleigh T.Honolulu, HI2352029Aug 16, 2020
Sachie was absolutely amazing with my 4 month puppy!! I asked her to give my fur baby a summer cut since Hawaii is so hot! She did just that!! I am so satisfied and happy with the way she turned out! Additionally, my puppy was happy after her appointment! Sachie was very easy to work with and kept us up to date via text message (the appointment lasted 2.5 hours)! The whole process was so easy!
She is located on Lowry St in Manoa! It was very easy to find! It is right next to the doggy bakery with ample street and lot parking!
I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog groomer!! I live in Hawaii Kai and am willing to make the drive to Manoa for grooming! She is a little difficult to get in touch with but keep attempting to contact her! She will not let you down!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Shoko is the best! My 12 year old shiba Mahina is normally pretty chill, but she haaaates baths and nail trimming. When I picked up Mahina after her first visit with Shoko, she didn't even want to leave! It was like she didn't want to say goodbye to her new friend.
Shoko will also send me the most adorable photos of Mahina all fresh from her grooming! I've been back since that first time, and I love using the new photos to update my phone homescreen.
Easy to schedule appointments, affordable for a wide range of services, and loving staff!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Joanna B.San Luis Obispo, CA44973Feb 5, 2021
Sachie was AMAZING with my 2 year old Labradoodle. My doodle had a few mats and a lot of fur, and she gave her one of the cutest cuts I've ever seen. After being groomed by Sachie, my dog smelled absolutely delightful and was so, so soft. I could tell that she had really carefully and meticulously groomed and cut my dog, her attention to detail is incredible. We'll certainly be coming back!!

Let me start by saying that my white Pomeranian is cute, but mean and aggressive. I searched through yelp for a groomer for him, but was met by many groomers saying that they do not accept aggressive dogs, which is understandable, but put me in a predicament. My beautiful, angry Pomeranian was nearly 5 years old, and had never been groomed, so his hair was very long. Then I came across Three Dogs and A Girl and read that they try to work with dogs with behavioral problems. I called just to make sure and Sachi informed me that they do take dogs that are difficult, and work with them to make sure they are comfortable and don't agitate the dog too much.
That being said, I took my dog, Prince Edward for his first grooming session with Kao and he was returned to me a new boy. I took in pictures that were similar to what I wanted. Actually, I took in multiple pictures and told Kao that I wanted the hair this length, but the ears like this, and not shaved with a buzzer, and not too short. Basically I was a nightmare, but this was my baby and I wasn't taking any chances on damaging his undercoat. I was SO SO SO thrilled when i picked him up. He was perfect! Kao did an amazing job on his haircut, and we have been hooked. I don't know how he behaves when he's there, but Kao is still willing to groom him and for that I am so grateful.
Kao does an amazing job and uses scissors to cut his hair. His hair grows back beautifully every time and the undercoat is never shaved or damaged. I don't know how she does it, but she's a miracle worker.
The prices are super reasonable, for a Pomeranian the grooming is $65 and $15 for taking out the mats in his hair. They do way more than $80 of work and it is so worth it. I'm so glad I found this place.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brad S.Honolulu, HI110295Aug 23, 2017
Took Daisy to get groomed today; Sachi and her team did an awesome job making her feel comfortable and cleaned her all up. Daisy is a Pom mix so you can't cut her fur too short since it's bad for her skin.
She had a bath, nails cut and cut. She looks great and more importantly had fun doing it. Plus she got treats from the pet bakery next door.
Recommend highly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Princess D.Honolulu, HI8922121Oct 5, 2019
Let me say... I'm SUUUUPER picky about who I let cut anyone in my family's hair. And our fur baby was no exception either. We have been coming to this dog salon for many years. Our beloved chihuahua, Gizmo, came here on a regular basis before he passed. He always was so happy to see the ladies here. Fast forward, we have a new fur baby... a Pomeranian. Kuma just adores coming to see Kao and the rest of the ladies here. They always take such good care of the babies. They explain everything to you and always have the pets best interest at heart. I HIGHLY recommend you bring your fur baby here for all grooming needs. And she always dresses them up and sends you cute pictures.

Our dog recently started to have some vision impairment and it was getting rather hard to get her a groomer that can be gentle, understanding, yet take their time. We were referred by Dr. Yamagata to come here because they are good with dogs with blindness and vision impairment. Our first appointment went really well, our dog is happy and so are we. We would recommend this place to other dog owners. The staff here is really nice as well. We will be back ;)

We are so happy with our first official grooming for our pom, Cinnamon! He had never been groomed before so we came here because it was close to our home and we got a referral from a friend. They did such a wonderful job on him and we, along with Cinnamon, are so happy.
We didn't want to shave him or give him any different style cuts, and they did a really good job in working with his long fur. They also gave us great tips for home; we have been pretty bad at grooming him properly other than giving him a bath/brushing him so this was very helpful.
I have no idea how they were able to pull off the photoshoot at the end with him but we were all so excited at the pictures. It was a nice surprise, as Cinnamon is usually more interested in eating the hats that we attempt to put on him. A great experience, we will be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
